The failing programme implmenting enhanced accounting and reporting systems, attempting to replace outdated legacy systems needed our help. They needed a business facing delivery conduit for this global programme, building enhanced BI and MI stack both strategic and operational reporting and consolidating front office and reinsurance data to create actionable and timely information, significantly progressing the financial close and affording deep analytics. After close strategic and change management delivery review and gaining a good handle on the tactical needs of the business the team successfuly delivered.

The business facing delivery conduit of the programme building a new enhanced BI/MI stack based strategic and ad hock reporting solution to support a unified reporting source, the progression of financial close and deep analytics.

Strong management of finance change in a pressurised environment, implementation of finance systems, mapping to finance operations in a non-life insurance industry.

Strong communications skills, stakeholder management all levels, manage conflict BAU and project demands, achieve programme imperatives and dealing with complex multifaceted issues.

Working with implementation leads across the business developing and progressing plans, resource requirements, training, testing, process workshops, EUC (end user computing) updates.

Also part of the finance transformation programme supporting replacement of the general ledger and direct reporting. Introducing a new reserving tool and earning engine set and end user reporting BI/MI data marts for underwriting reserving and financials, automated reconciliation tools, a new accounting engine and exception handling. This during a particularly busy time for Finance: year end, quarterly reporting and merger activities and go-live Solvency II reporting.
